Air:
Good domestic airline services connect major cities. Buses:
Wopuche (sleeper buses) with blankets and pillows,
are the most comfortable for long-distance road trips.
Yebanche (Night buses) have cushioned seats and
are slightly better than the Baibanche (day buses).
Zhongbache (minibuses) are found almost everywhere.
Taxis:
Plentiful, metered, and come in standard and deluxe versions,
the latter slightly more expensive. Train:
There are rail services within Yunnan and to other provinces.
Kunming Airport:
Small and large taxis are available for the 4-km ride
to the city centre, either charged per metre, or agreed
upon at a fixed price.
Airport tax:
US$12 for international flights and US$6 for domestic
flights
