With entry formalities relaxing
and infrastructure around coastal areas developing, Vietnam
will soon be able to offer a full range of beach holidays
to international visitors. However, at present, there are
only a few tour operators attempting to exploit the potential
of Vietnam's beaches, leaving them relatively peaceful and
unspoiled.

Danang is blessed with over 30km
of beaches, and the nearby Doc Let and Cua Dai beaches are
also good. Nha Trang, with pleasant weather year round, offers
a good choice of accommodation, and attractive offshore islands.
Another good beach can be found at Hon Chong, while Mui Ne
Beach, near Phan Thiet, and Ca Na both have potential. Offshore
the beaches of Phu Quoc Island, in the Gulf of Thailand, are
also worth a visit.
